CLUTCH REPAIRS

The clutch connects to your engine via the engine’s flywheel. When the clutch is engaged (i.e. no pressure on the clutch pedal) the clutch disc is forced against the flywheel by powerful springs. Friction between the two parts forms a solid connection and the engine’s motion is transmitted to the transmission. Depressing the clutch pedal causes the springs holding the clutch disc against the flywheel to relax. Without being held in place, the clutch disc loses contact and stops spinning, breaking the linkage. We can remove and replacement of the clutch pressure plate, replacement of clutch pilot bearing and bushing (when applicable) and resurface the flywheel.

BRAKE REPAIRS

Depending on your car’s brake system, it may use between 4 to 8 brake pads. When you step on the brake pedal, the master cylinder sends fluid under pressure to the brake calipers (which hold the brake pads). The caliper presses the brake pad against the brake rotor, causing friction that slows down the car. During normal usage of the brakes, brake pads wear out and become thinner. If the thickness of brake pads is less than 3mm, it is time to change the pads. We specialize in installing new pads, rotors, calipers, hoses, and brake fluid condition.
